Builders' Trip

The Builders' Sunday School Class had a marvelous trip to the North Georgia Mountains on Thursday, November 8, 2012.  Seventeen people boarded the church van and a car and as they traveled north they witnessed the beauty of God's creation in all the colors of the fall foliage. The group stopped at Mercier's Orchard in Blue Ridge to shop and drove to Blairsville for lunch at Rib Country.  The highlight of the trip was going to Mary Cheves' cabin in Cherry Log. Our wonderful hostess served hot apple cider and coffee along with cake and an assortments of desserts. 

Pastor Jamie Lambert was the chauffeur and is to be commended for putting up with the "old folks." The class greatly appreciated the hospitality extended by our hostess Mary and enjoyed the time spent in her beautiful mountain home.
