Instructions for Looking Up Books in the Covenant Library
The Library Committee of the Covenant Presbyterian Church of Fayetteville, GA, has recently completed a catalog of the books in the library that are available for check-out.
There are currently four files containing lists:
(1) Books sorted alphabetically by title (Covenant Presb Library Listing_March 2019 - sorted by title.pdf)
(2) Books sorted alphabetically by author (Covenant Presb Library Listing_March 2019 - sorted by author.pdf)
(3) Books sorted inversely by publication date (Covenant Presb Library Listing_March 2019 - sorted by date.pdf)
(4) Books sorted alphabetically by category (Covenant Presb Library Listing_March 2019 - sorted by category.pdf)
Each of these lists are PDF (Portable Document Format) files extracted from the main library “card catalog”. A free document reader to open and use these files is available for most computers at Adobe.com (https://get.adobe.com/reader/).
These files are best read at 200% of original size and will print out on legal size (8-1⁄2” x 14”) paper.
Once you download the reader and open any of these files, you can search for specific books, authors, or categories using the “search” or “find” tool within Adobe Acrobat Reader.
This “search and find” routine is a bit clunky, but it should work in the short term for anybody with any computer having access to the Covenant Presbyterian Church website. We are working on an improved database that can be searched “live” from the web site itself without having to download a reader file and program.
The catalog will be updated regularly, as will these four access reader files until the new “search and find” system is in place.
