Seniors at Covenant are a vital part of our ministry to each other and to the community. Covenant seniors are an active group of Christians who serve others with their wisdom and seemingly boundless energy. This group doesn't let any grass grow under their feet. They are involved in every element of life at Covenant, nurturing younger generations and sharing their love and experience to help others. For example:

• Nursery work. Seniors nuture the youngest of our congregation by caring for them in the nusery during Sunday worship or other churchwide activities.

• WIC Food Ministry.  Prepare a meal for a shut-in. Stuck at home?  Take on the responsibility of Area Coordinator --  make the phone calls to line up the meal for the shut-in in your immediate area.

• Music. Seniors sing in the choir and praise God through a variety of musical opportunities.

• Covenant Care Ministry. When crises occur and church members need special long-term help, Covenant seniors actively help! Providing meals. Sitting with home-bound members or their family members. Reading to them. Shopping for them. And many other ways.

• Sunday School. Covenant seniors share wisdom and biblical insight by teaching others in Sunday School.

• Pioneer Kids Club. Seniors play an active role in Covenant's Sunday evening childrens' program called Pioneer Kids club. Singing, teaching, doing arts and crafts, and many other activities to help kids learn about Jesus and have fun at the same time.

• Naomi Fellowship. This group of senior women who are widows meet to have lunch together after Sunday morning worship. It's a time of fun, fellowship and friendship for a group with a special bond.

So if you're a senior, there's plenty of activities to share at Covenant. Come and join us!
