Music
Music is an essential part of worship at Covenant. Our early service features contemporary music with guitars, electric piano, and other modern instruments. Our 11:00 services features traditional anthems accompanied by the majesty and power of a grand pipe organ and piano.
There’s always room for your musical talent at Covenant. If you play a contemporary instrument, you might consider how you can add to worship at the early contemporary service. Our music director Sam Burch can provide you with more information about how you can lend your talents.
If you want to sing in the chancel choir or play a traditional instrument, Sam can talk to you about how your talents can add to the worship of God in the traditional 11:00 service. And, you don’t have to be a professional soloist or have a trained voice to participate in the choir.
Musicians for the early service normally practice one Saturday morning a month -- contact David Shannon. Chancel choir rehearsal is on Sundays at 4:45 pm, except for the summer break.
There are many music opportunities for children, too. Call Sam at the church office or speak to him on Sunday to find out how you can help with the music ministry.
