MINUTE FOR MISSIONS
At Covenant Presbyterian Church, we support many different missionaries throughout the world. This portion of our web site shares news and letters from the field so you know how they are ministering in God’s name “to the ends of the earth.”
Covenant Church during 2010 is supporting 13 different missionaries couples.
MISSIONS and FAITH GIVING
When God has laid it on your heart to support our missionaries, indicate in the memo section of your check the amount of your tithe and the name of the missionary and gift amount. The treasurer will distribute your tithe and your gift respectively.
DIASTER RELIEF FOR HAITI
MNA Disaster Response is working to assist PCA Pastors Dony St. Germain and Brian Kelso; these MNA staff members have already established relationships with key leaders in Haiti. The MNA Disaster Response Team, headed by Arklie Hooten, Disaster Response Director, is currently in Haiti doing an assessment to determine how best to assist with the tremendous needs there. They will also determine how best to provide the means for staging volunteers who will come to serve.
They are looking for long-term volunteers – Site Managers and hosts for the work sites, those skilled in masonry, concrete placement and roofing systems or joining a construction team.
