Men
"It is hard to know where to begin describing the spiritual uplifting that comes from attending the Men’s Prayer Breakfast each Tuesday morning at 9:00AM. First, there is the fellowship, and good food, enjoyed by such a very diverse group of men from so many different backgrounds. However, each contributes with mutual amity, caring for each other amid abounding friendship. Then there is the appreciation each man has for God’s Holy Word, and as we study His Word, each man interprets it so that we come away with a mutual consensus regarding the true meaning and how we are to use it in our daily lives. Before leaving, we discuss the prayer needs of our Church as well as any other prayer concerns that anyone may have, and each person has an opportunity to pray to our Lord as he may be led to do so. This small group has meant everything to Sue and me during our present difficulty, and we look toward the Lord to use our example in such a way as would be pleasing to him. There are usually six people in attendance, but we hope to grow as more people become aware of what we do." Sincerely, Ed R.
Men’s Breakfast & Bible Study Group meets on Tuesdays at 9:00 a.m., at the Dwarf House. Bible lessons and discussion are from the Westminster Shorter Catechism.
