                      To kick off their Christmas break, the youth embarked on a journey to North Carolina to ski. With only a few experienced skiers there were a lot of great wipe outs and a lot of laughs.

                       The women of all ages from Covenant met together for a time of sharing crafts and fellowship, gaining new skills in holiday cooking, crocheting, and festive paper crafts. We had such a great time and we hope all ladies will join us next time!

                      WHEREAS, Elder Louis F. Salzmann, devoted servant of God, has faithfully served Covenant Presbyterian Church for over    27 years.  During that time he has served as elder, teacher, choir member, Christian Education chairman, and preacher.  Elder Salzmann has served on numerous committees including a Pastoral Search Committee, and served as a pastoral assistant to a former senior pastor;

                      and, Whereas, during this period, God has drawn the congregation together through Elder Salzmann’s wisdom and ministry, to glorify Him and serve Him in love, and has used Elder Salzmann’s life’s testimony to grow, nurture, and impact a whole generation of Covenant members;

                      and, Whereas, he has earned our complete trust by faithfully and conscientiously being dedicated to worship;  teaching, and serving the congregation and staff of Covenant Presbyterian Church;

                      and, Whereas, we are a flock of unruly sheep, quick to wander and often entangled in the world's thorns.  But Elder Salzmann, a faithful servant of Christ and man of godly wisdom and integrity, has lovingly and faithfully been shepherd, teacher, listener, comforter, counselor, administrator and dear friend to all.  Even as Christ laid down His life for the Church, Elder Salzmann has
